Workfront Fusion Developer & Configuration Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Fusion Development & Integrations
- Design, build, and maintain Workfront Fusion scenarios for multi-system integrations (e.g., Workfront, Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Smartsheet).
- Translate business and functional requirements into reliable, well-structured Fusion automations.
- Apply Fusion development best practices, including module structuring, scenario orchestration, error handling, and reusability patterns.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON/XML data structures, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, Bearer tokens) to build and troubleshoot integrations.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling to improve reliability and reduce downtime of Fusion workflows.
- Support the deployment lifecycle (design → testing → UAT → go-live → maintenance) for Fusion-based automations.
- Collaborate with technical teams and Workfront Consultants to ensure Fusion solutions align with platform configuration and avoid overlap or duplication.
Workfront Configuration & Administration
- Administer and maintain the Adobe Workfront platform, including project templates, custom forms, workflows, layouts, queues, dashboards, and reports.
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, groups, and teams.
- Configure automation, notifications, approval processes, and routing rules within Workfront.
- Implement and maintain governance standards, system settings, and platform best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workfront configurations.
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and project teams; monitor system usage and adoption.
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and coordinate with Adobe support and internal IT as needed.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- 4–6 years of overall professional experience in enterprise workflow/project management platforms, with hands-on exposure to both Adobe Workfront Fusion and Workfront configuration/administration.
- Practical experience designing and maintaining Fusion scenarios, including flow control, error handling, and scheduling.
- Working knowledge of the Workfront API, REST APIs, and common authentication patterns (OAuth2, tokens).
- Hands-on experience configuring Workfront custom forms, templates, workflows, queues, dashboards, and reports.
- Understanding of Workfront user administration, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Comfort working with JSON/XML and basic data transformation logic.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Desirable Skills and Tools
- Exposure to other iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Make/Integromat).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for custom data transformation.
- Experience using Postman or Swagger for API testing and validation.
- Familiarity with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (Marketo, AEM, Analytics, Campaign).
- Exposure to logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk) for automation performance tracking.Adobe Workfront and/or Fusion Certification preferred
